Dartrunner
I've been working on a strange problem someone is having on their computer. It is a computer that I built for them about a year ago with a Nforce everything intergrated motherboard. 1800XP 512MB running WinXP w/ all updates. Anyway, Internet Explorer keeps loosing it's status bar. All they have to do is "View, Status Bar" to get it back, but it gets anoying doing that all the time. I have run adaware & spybot, they don't find anything except the few ad cookies you always see. Their Norton Antivirus is up to date and shows nothing. I've searched through the reg for anything to do with "status bar". I've done the google search and couldn't really find anything. Anyone seen anything like this before? Any sugestions? Thanks,Bob Smith

I called and asked, and sure enough he opens windows with Ctrl-N all the time. What a pain. Thanks for the find. By the way how did you find that? I typed in " IE status bar" in the knowledge base search and did not see that one. Probably just over looked it.
Guest ThunderRiver
The "Help and Support" feature works great to find solutions like that. Or else, you could always go to http://support.microsoft.com
