Newsletter Coming Shortly -- Forums Performance May Slow

Recommended Posts

The last time I sent the newsletter, the forums traffic spiked and we reached too many simultaneous connections. I will shortly be sending another newsletter. It's possible that forums performance will slow down or that it was be intermittently unavailable. I won't be able to watch closely myself, but I would welcome posts from anyone telling me what happened. It's not my intention to allow this to be a permanent situation. But I'm still trying to figure out exactly what the issue is -- and what I can do about it.-- Scot

Today I encountered a 'moving to new webhost' message. Just checking in late tonight the forums were up and running again. And fast responding too.

Hope all is well with the move. Saw Striker's checking-in. Yesterday Mozilla Firefox window title came across as "This website is moving".Navigation is a little rough on me what with all the redundancies. Oh well, sooner or later I'll get the hang of this. Ain't gonna question the smarter guys making up this website!Mockingbird :whistling:

Yes, our host moved us to their new data center and all is well! More bandwidth and redundancy from what I understand. It does appear to be working well so far. :whistling:
