Elf Wizard
Hi! I want to install java on a mac system.I searched for a while and I found this page: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/jav...04release5.html .My problem is, this page reports as a requirement the system version osx 10.4.8.The system I'm working on, reports osx 10.4.7.What now? Can I install it, can I update the system, can I find another (older?) java version, or have I to try something different? As you already realized, I'm brand new to mac world, so please be patient with me! Thanks!!!
zox
You are little behind.Latest version of Tiger is 10.4.11/Click on your apple logo on top left and select "System Update"/You have to be connected to internet. After couple of minutes you will get window with all available updates for your system and there should be 10.4.11 as well as Java, etc..Update and don't worry :)Good luck
