Sorry . . this may be a stupid question . . but . . . . does the cardreader work, or did you get it to work on 11.0 . . . or does it work out of the box on Slackware 12.0 ??Anyway, whatever the things tou had to do to get it working: Congrats ;) . . . LOLB) Bruno

Aren't the only stupid questions the ones that are left unasked?;)I bought a card reader and plugged my SD card into it and into my computer. Slack 12.0 did the rest!It really doesn't take much to make me happy. :) Now to burn those pics to DVD.

Right . . so it was a combo thing: the cardreader and 12.0 B) . . . . . . . brilliant !Now, if, just for fun, you want to do it all on the commandline . . . . place all pics in a folder "Pics" and:

$ mkisofs -R -o  Pictures.iso  Pics

That will make an ISO file . . you can then burn it to DVD with

$ growisofs  -Z  /dev/hdc=Pictures.iso
