Bruno Posted December 17, 2006 Share Posted December 17, 2006 Okay Jim . . . after closely looking at the packages you have installed and comparing them to the ones I have installed I see a difference in size in the hplip, hplip-hpijs, sane-backends and xsane.What I think that is happening is that when you go through configuring your printer it takes some files from your DVD's and some from the mirror we added . . and that is why you have a mix if 64 and 32 bits packages.So what we will try today is:1). Remove ( with "rpm -e <package> --nodeps" ) all those sane and hplip packages.2). Go in the MCC and de-activate all sources except the 2007_main-32 and 2007_contrib-32 . . . this way we can only get 32bits packages.3).
