If you have any sites with steam locomotives, the guy that posted this would be interested in links.I found this UK site for him http://www.haworth-village.org.uk/wallpape...t=Steam%20Train
Here's the old Southern Railway website, it's slow to load but trainloads of steam pix.Thes are from the same site but are of the town I lived in England before moving to Australia... http://oldreigate.com/?goto=redhillstation

For choo-choos .. and diesel electrics ..... google up this web site ( if it is still around) AnnieRebs ... she has screen saver/wall papers (screen savers have audio) and some links to other train memorabilia ...

I had to pass on all the AnnieReb's. I downloaded three. They came with a wrapper. I started reading the EULA and it mentioned a partner WebDevAZ. I googled that and ended up at Eric Howe's Spyware Warrior site where he talks avbout ezula. I don't need adware/foistware/scumware bundled with wallpaper.I'll look at your link greengeek. Anything iris is always beautiful. Here's what I currently usesmirispaper.gifClick to enlarge. I think I have this thumbnail thing figured out - again. Thanks Bruno. B)

I downloaded one of the train screensavers from anniereb's and installed it on my Linux machine through Crossover Office. Obviously the screensaver doesn't work on this machine but I got the folder with the screensaver only and the exe for it and will try it on XP tomorrow. The folder is only 1.3MB, the download was 2.1MB. I also had to check my cookie folder and get rid of about 20 cookies. There is a way of getting the original programme out of those wrapper thingies but it's ages since I really bothered with Windows' stuff and I can't remember how I did it.

Hey, look over there! Something is approaching from the left field:The FireFox cognoscenti probably has "downThemAll" (affectionately known as "dTa") extension already installed!

...It lets you download all the links or images contained in a webpage and much more: you can refine your downloads by fully customizable criteria to get only what you really want!DownThemAll is absolutely freeware and open-source. No Adware, no Spyware...
Click here for more information...It will make mince meat out of the chore of fetching multiple images from a webpage... and more!
