A client with two computers, a desktop and a laptop had problems with both their computers with 100% CPU usage due to SS 5.We had to download the new version and at the recommendation of some folks manually shutdown SS before reinstalling over the previous install of 5.0.Apparently all is well now after a reboot.Keeping fingers crossed.

What a shame. I generally have felt for quite some time that Spy Sweeper was the best AS product out there. They have really shot themselves in the foot with this fiasco.I'm very interested to know if the newer versions have fixed the problem. -- Scot

I emailed SS thru support and they replied with a request for information on which programs are on my computer. I haven't heard back yet. The earlier version is still working just fine.
