hkspike
Maybe I'm behind the drag curve here or just a slow reader, but I've just read an article about this clever firm who places ads inside games. Now I realise that ad placement is big bucks and that this looks seriously clever but there's something slightly creepy about my kids' games phoning home, not only to run the game, but also to grab ads.Makes you wonder what else Double Vision may be trying to look at on my computer to ensure that they optimise ads. And what other info they may send home.Take it one step further; does this mean that if their software sees words relating to food or drink used in (maybe) an on-line game, they will serve a clickable in-game ad allowing the player to order a chinese take-away or whatever?Scary.
