Grasshopper
I've never really thought of this, but is there any internet performance gains if I run my laptop on wifi and have it connected via CAT5? I sound like a bench racer on my car forum!! LOL!
Peachy
Your Internet speed will be limited by your ISP which can be anywhere between 1Mbps to 6Mbps for broadband. Consider that a typical home Ethernet LAN is 10/100Mbps and wireless is 11-54Mbps. From my experience it's not any faster or slower. When I download things the rates appear to be the same either way.
