JerryM
I understand that Norton is very difficult to uninstall. My new system came with a trial version of McAfee installed. I don't want to keep it, although it is a good AV I think. I want to uninstall it and install Bit Defender pay version, and LnS.Is it difficult to uninstall McAfee? Thanks,Jerry
b2cm
No. (Although it leaves behind some empty folders, and maybe some orphaned files.)
teacher
Sometimes it leaves behind some registry settings that only act up if you try to install a new version. The last run in I had with them I had leftover DRM settings they had to help me get rid of. At least I think it was DRM since it was a year or so ago the memory is fuzzy.
