Hey AB....They're fun little devices to mess around with. I have several here and one more on the way. I'm using them for Pihole, plane spotting, music server, MagicMirror....ham radio to access Reverse Beacon.... I'm thinking the problem with me not getting a desktop setup w/ Alpine on my RPi4 is not enough RAM....the RPi4 only has 1gb and I think it needs at least 2 or more. The one on the way has 4g....we shall see....

At todays rates that would be $77. Kit like that is always much much cheaper in the USA than here.

Actually, I paid $98 U.S. for mine just a couple of months ago, but when I checked the latest price on Amazon, it had come down a lot.

My monthly saving is for a few reasons: Communications charges are pretty high in Canada to begin with so more room for discounts. Rogers is desperate to move legacy cable TV users to IPTV. They don't sell the legacy service to new users while not offering any discounts at all to existing legacy users. They will give you a substantial discount if you switch to strictly Internet based TV. Rogers waived all installation and setup fees so I got a technician to come in and do the setup. I was mostly concerened that the TV boxes would work OK as I know how to set up an Internet network. I had been holding off because I had the old SDTV equipment which would be useless with Internet based TV. When that equipment would be useless anyhow it seemed like a good time to make the change. With my old modem I needed a rather complicated mesh router system to get decent wifi coverage in the house, but the new gateway seems much better. It has "Band Steering" so that each device gets the best wifi frequency it can use.

Hello, I would be cautious about running this program. When looking at the program a few months ago I found some questionable things about it: https://www.neowin.net/news/microsofts-official-app-for-improving-performance-in-windows-10-and-11-lands-in-the-store/#comment-598880951 Regards, Aryeh Goretsky

Well in the US the IRS never contacts you via phone, its always certified letters. That would be the the first indication. Sort of like when the scammers who claim to be from Microsoft call you. -
Neat gadget. Naturally it is more expensive here in the UK £99.

seems to be too much of a coincidence that after the W10 update and the Brave update today, that uBlock origin prevents Brave from showing any web pages. Brave Version 1.65.133 Chromium: 124.0.6367.208 (Official Build) W10 22H2 build 19045.4412 uBlock Origin 1.57 (uBliock Orign Lite does work)

The rest of what? I got a phone call from the "Tax Department" once in a similar vein. Listened through then hung up. A lot of people fall for them though. Last year Australians lost 2.7 billion AU dollars, $AU3.1B the year before. In the US it was $12.5B. And that's only the ones that were reported. -

CLSID is the key here You may need to add your own file folders and possibly the right long numbers (maybe not), but at least you can increase volume on wav files. (select "always" after a [R]-[Click] on any .wav to get it started). Got these by right clicking SndRec32.exe ...run in compatibility for Xp Sp3 [Properties]-[Security]-[Advanced]- [Disable Inheritance] Then I tried Recycler.wav, started Sndrec32.exe and closed it then... [Properties]-[Security]-[Advanced]- [Enable Inheritance] Remove compatibility mode and POOF ! HEY It worked! -

The new network passed the stress test on Sunday when my daughter's family arrived with their usual collection of laptops, tablets, smartphones and Nintendo Switch consoles.
