mhbell Posted January 18, 2014 Share Posted January 18, 2014 (edited) I downloaded the KDE Version Yesterday and at first I was impressed until I clicked on Icons that did nothing or else returned a error message. Tried to add myself as a user instead of makulu and clicked on users and groups got error message. Finally added myself using the cli and adduser. when I booted up and logged in I had a debian desktop instead of the original makulu that I had logging in as makulu. While digging deeper I discovered it is using jesse sid when booting parts of testing and parts of linuxmint as well as 3rd party stuff half of which doesn't work. The distro looks pretty but is very buggy and the screen jumps with the ticker running when you try to do something. this distro IMHO is imature and not ready as a release candidate. should be labeled BETA Mel Edited January 18, 2014 by mhbell Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
