Today was the beginning of the end of Nazi tyranny. Almost 2500 men made the ultimate sacrifice to insure the landing was successful. We owe more than we can repay for the bravery of these men.
"Long ago, when men cursed and beat the ground with sticks,
it was called witchcraft. Today it's called golf." -- Will Rogers (1879-1935)

My husband and I gave a call yesterday to our master teacher (we both student taught under him but 4 years apart). He turned 21 when he was involved in the D-Day invasion. He turned 95 yesterday and remembers the Day like it was yesterday.
