imranj
Hey ppl i downloaded mozilla 1.4 FB for windows...........yeah its cool fast, stable..........for a change from firebirdmozillai feel that mozilla ui is more appealing and makes me right at home.............and for support reasons with java 1.4.2 vmand sites..........etc i for now am sticking to Moz 1.4Any ideas when the merger will take place between Moz and FirebirdMoz.............?happy surfing
GolfProRM
From the sounds of it, the Firebird code will start being integrated in Moz1.5... Firebird won't officially become MozillaBrowser yet though... I think it'll be 1.6 or 1.7 before they're fully integrated. They have to catch the Thunderbird email client up before they can completely take over. I know Firebird 0.7 will be coming out before Moz1.5 does though.Glad you like Moz1.4! It's a nice browser, although I prefer the Firebird UI. SonicDragon
Yea, i think GolfProRM is right. From what i hear, it sounds like the FireBird code will start to be integrated into 1.5, but it will take more time before it is fully integrated.Imranj: I love Mozilla too! It's what i use almost 100 percent of the time Enjoy!

imranj
Yes FireBirdy might be light ...........and fast ...............but after using FBMozilla i feel that mozilla 1.4 is more better.............and i dont like FB's UI is too flat.........looks kidish to me.Mozilla's UI looks more professional..............its interaction with its menu and other stuff is more good.............in FB especially in the proxy settings area...........wht ever i type ....gets types but when i select it to copy it disapears.....although the address is still their .......and FB 0.6 crashed many times for me.................java 1.4.2 didnt worked....and using both i feel that..........mozilla's engine seems more robust..........and gives that BMW type car feel to me upon using. But i do miss FB's extensions and other stuff........so for now i am on to Mozz 1.
