After a couple of weeks and about 1200 updated packages, I am solidly into Debian Testing (Forky.) I am pleased how well it runs on my old Thinkpad 430. I have 3 possible desktops - GNOME, LXQt, and Xfce are available - & they all are working without problems. I don't know if Linux will be the solution for the Windows 10 refugees out there, but it sure is for me.
