Although I once ran one of the really bad versions of Windows (Me), I managed to avoid a couple of other stinkers (Windows Vista, Windows 8). That said, my major criticisms of Windows are how they tried to squeeze out competitors like Linux, and how they drop support for otherwise useful hardware. Fortunately I discovered Linux to keep good machines out of the landfill.

In a way yes.However the interesting fact is that quite a influential company is choosing to put their reputation  and good name on the line by using Arch linux.          Basecamp-maker 37Signals says its “cloud exit” will save it $10M over 5 years     😎
