I got a feeling its malicious state actors as the major attacks tend to be that way nowadays. 

There seems to be a concerted attack on a lot of Linux resources lately. I've seen it at forums.debian.net , packages.debian.org , linuxmusicians.com , MX forums, and several others. In many cases it's just the stupid AI bots which refuse to be blocked in robots.txt and use sometimes hundreds of connections to a site, but other times it is certainly malicious actors.

My first was Win 98SE, may still have the install CD somewhere. From there, XP, Win 7, Win 10 ie. the good ones. 😉 Still have 10 installed but it doesn't get much love, only booted rarely to play a game. As for Win 11 🤮, I'm a proud and happy Linux user.

Yes, Windows 95 Turns 30 today!   I remember using MS-DOS and it was such a great improvement moving to Windows 95. Any others here use Win95?   You can read about what was included in the operating system at the referenced link.
