My system has been acting strange lately. I just shut it down after I let it install an update (which finished and exited minutes earlier) and at the last moment a software update window flashed again as it powered off. I turned it back on, and it didn't load past the startup logo. I powered it off, then back on. It brought up the boot menu, so I hit the first option and let it start up normally, and everything is fine now. I even checked for updates and everything seems okay. It had done something similar before I made this post (though I didn't notice an update window flashing at shutdown.)   About 2 weeks ago, the system locked up completely. I had some photos open, then moved them to another drive, but forgot they were open in a photo viewer. So when I switched back to the photo viewer, the system completely froze. I assume because I had moved the files and forgot to close the viewer they were opened in. I had to run fsck on the system drive and fix errors to get it to boot again. Ever since then, it's been acting strange like this. Before then, it had been running with no issues for over a year.

Good information to know. Now that you mention it, I do remember way back when Edge was first introduced hearing about it being created through Chromium. I never used Edge so I never really thought much into it.
