Did you try changing the osdcolor= setting to cyan from green to see if it works? That would show if the config file is actually working, I should think. -

That made me laugh. An AMD fan secretly hoarding Intel. 🤣 My first pc was AMD and I built a couple of pc's with AMD chips but with Nvidia gpu's. The AMD cpus were power slurpers though. My Skylake build was Intel and Nvidia and ran like a dream. Low power use and fast it lasted nearly ten years and is still a runner today. I was using it to play Fallout 76 on high graphics until I retired it. My latest build is all AMD and has been pain free at install and in running. It does however use more power when gaming. Still I am really happy with it as I could run Fallout 76 at ultra settings. I am now using it to play Skyrim with a ton of mods and it performs excellently. The secondhand Ryzen 5 laptop I bought is also a winner. One happy AMD fan here. -

Nope that did not work either. 🫣 Have I placed the .wmbrightrc correctly in my /home ? Or should it be placed somewhere else ? Thanks for the try. -

I need one decent machine for travel and photo storage during travel. Right now that is a Chromebook that is easy to carry and charges the same as a phone. The other laptops are mostly to install and experiment with Linux.
