Anyway, https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2024/08/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_28.html , there are a couple of patches to very bad things. And there was some confusion tossed in last week as to what updates were supposed to be available. residents of USA may have missed it due to Labour Day Weekend.
