It is no big deal as a FF add-on like Video DownloadHelper works. Also you can see underneath the video in the example above, at the end of Quote Royal Enfield Hunter 350 - review after 8 weeks a " headphone " icon. Clicking on this will allow just audio for the video. Not much use on that particular video but a useful feature on music videos I guess. I am quite enjoying not seeing adverts and all the extra stuff you get on the normal You Tube site. Invidious runs only in a browser so whilst you can use it on android phones it apparently is a tad clunky. You should report that bigot to the invidious devs. Another point - I keep forgetting Youtube has ads. uBlock Origin blocks them all. I have set up LibRedirect to also redirect , Imgur, GoodReads and Sack Overflow. Whilst doing so I came across Blacklight, Blacklight is a Real-Time Website Privacy Inspector. Enter the address of any website, and Blacklight will scan it and reveal the specific user-tracking technologies on the site. How We Built a Real-time Privacy Inspector Quote The tool emulates how a user might be surveilled while browsing the web. Users type a URL into Blacklight, and it visits the requested website, scans for known types of privacy violations, and returns an instant privacy analysis of the inspected site.
