raymac46
My cloning adventures have been in Windows 10 where I have a couple of excellent tools: AOMEI Backupper Pro and MiniTool Partition Wizard. ABP is great when you want to clone a larger drive to a smaller one. I used it to move a 1 TB HDD over to a 480 GB SSD. But when I cloned the SSD back to a larger 1 TB SSD, I then had to use MTPW to "stretch" the data partition up to the maximum. That is essentially what Clutter ended up doing in Linux with Clonezilla and Gparted. Of course you have to make sure that the stuff on the larger drive is smaller in size than what is available on the SSD before any cloning process. Duh.
