bjf123
I'm hoping we've got a Crystal Reports guru here somewhere. As part of an IT infrastructure update, we've re-IP's most of our network. Our accounting and manufacturing software database used to be 100.0.100.248 and is now 192.168.20.27. The software clients for it find the new database with no trouble. However, there are 15 Crystal Reports that run over the weekend that are not running due to CR not finding the database. Someone else configured CR and I have no clue how to update it. I've looked around in the various settings, but have gotten nowhere. Can anyone help?
crp
which version of Crystel Reports? Also, find it hard to believe that the report would be set against an IP instead of a server name. Are you sure nothing else changed?

Are you sure nothing else changed? Even if were a server name, I'd think the report would need to establish a new connection to the MS SQL server. bjf123
It's CR 2013 SP1 ver 14.1.1.1036. The owner at work set it up and pointed it to an IP. He would work on reports offline on his laptop and change the IP to his local system's smaller copy of the database when away from the office, so using server names wouldn't work. I was able to get the solution in another forum. I needed to run a program to put the manager in 32 bit mode and open the ODBC driver. From there, I could easily change the IP of the server. Apparently, that wasn't possible in 64 bit mode. Don't know why. Regardless, it's fixed!
