Hedon James
I use Lucky Backup for my Ubuntu system. I was goaded into writing a tutorial for that software on this forum and it actually turned out pretty good (IMO!) after I got some feedback from others. Don't know if it's what you're looking for, but it's certainly worth looking into. I found it here: http://forums.scotsnewsletter.com/index.php?showtopic=67147&hl=luckybackup Edited September 30, 2014 by Hedon James
V.T. Eric Layton
Goaded? Is that what it was? Here's the link to that tutorial without all the yellow search highlighting... http://forums.scotsnewsletter.com/index.php?showtopic=67147

Here's the link to that tutorial without all the yellow search highlighting... http://forums.scotsn...showtopic=67147 Goaded, hazed, coaxed...said in a sarcastic tone with intentions of humor; and I see your winking emoji has taken it as such?! ha, ha...it's all good!!! Perhaps "challenged" would've been a more appropriate description? I willingly accepted the challenge because I've gotten so many good ideas/suggestions/tech support from others on this forum (before I became a member, I was a pretty frequent "lurker") who are obviously much smarter than I am; and I am grateful for their shared expertise. As a Linux-user, I receive free tech support from Linux-gurus, and in return I provide free tech support to Linux-newbies and/or Linux-wannabes. Seems more than fair, as I believe the value of the knowledge I receive greatly exceeds the value of the knowledge I dispense. Besides, isn't that the Linux way?
