crp
so I've heard the song from Lorde a few times thought it was interesting , especially how the audio was layered. Checking out Vevo , I saw that they had a video for the song. so I viewed it. :'( Can anyone here explain how the video relates to the song? V.T. Eric Layton
"Vevo is on my Roku." I can't believe the board censor even allows that type of language.

abarbarian
ok, here we go again. is this another one of those threads where only the op knows what he's playing at, and the rest of us are to post incessantly without clue? Sounds like an interesting thread. Care to share

V.T. Eric Layton
It's not nice to hotlink and steal bandwidth from an open (free) donation-supported website (wikipedia), iAdam; particularly when you hotlink to an image that is 5 bazillion pixels in size. If you're going to hotlink and steal bandwidth, steal it from giant, capitalist pig dog commercial websites like Amazon and Google.

sunrat
Video makes sense to me. She's singing about their lives being ordinary but happy and just dreaming about being rich royalty. Lorde is a young Kiwi singer who has had loads of success including singing at the Grammys and winning a major award there. Personally I'm not impressed, but she sold out 3 shows at the club where I work last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlcIKh6sBtc At the Grammys (complete with Spanish subs): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7X_OCoG2D0U
