When there is an official reason given, this thread will be updated.Thanks to all those who contacted the Administration staff alerting us to the outage.(1:05 PM EST) Some forum pages under the Mozilla browsers (Mozilla, Firefox, etc) may have some visual anomalies. We are working to try to correct this issue. If there is a rendering issue, please refresh the page, and or try to clear your cache. If the problem persists please contact me via PM.(1:07 PM EST) It appears the server time is off by an hour. We are working on that as well. Please do not change your time settings, because once the time has been changed back you will be off.(1:09 PM EST) We are aware of a potential "Mail Error!" while trying to post. Please do not try and post again if you get the "Mail Error!" First go to the forum where you were posting and see if it in fact did go thru. More than likely it did post past the error...(3:09 PM EST) We still do not have any official word as to why the server has been off and on for the last few hours. We will provide details when they become available.(3:15 PM EST) To insure the integerty of the forum database, the administrative staff has decided to temporarily close the forums until the server problems are officially resolved.(4:23 PM EST) The official response from the webhost: We are very sorry for the downtime, what happened was that we had a power outage in town and all power was lost, but then the generators kicked in and all looked fine. We thought we had a green light but no one on the outside could see us at all. We took care of that problem and all is now up and running. Once again we apologize for your inconvenience. (4:23 PM EST) The forum is now back open.(8:55 PM EST) The board's time has been corrected. However, if the local time for the server is changed back to the state it was prior to the power-outage (quoted above) we will have to make another adjustment.
