securitybreach
I am one of the two Admins on the "official" Archlinux Community on Google+ and I am proud to say that we now have over 9,000 members. This Community has been around for a couple of months ever since Google+ first added the Community feature (December 6th). I did not start the Community but I was promoted to Admin not long after and since then, we have made categories for posts and such. If you are on Google+ and are interested in Archlinux, please come visit us and become a member of our Community: https://plus.google....870359973712582 Rules (README): https://plus.google....sts/PfyGnQwPJ9z

securitybreach
When GoogleNet becomes self-aware and Agent Smith shows up in your bedroom, don't say I didn't warn you. Well its not like I use my real name or any real details about myself but yeah, I have to leave right because I hear the black helicopters swarming around

securitybreach
Well I woke up with a nice surprise this morning. We now have over 20,000 (20,012) members. Not bad for a Community that we started on December 8th 2012.

securitybreach
20K+? Google is loving you! ... your data. Don't worry the Google bot is archiving your posts here too.
V.T. Eric Layton
ARRRRRGH! Actually, I'm not worried. I've been using Dr. Frink's Super Heterodyne Ion Taser Cascading Armature Nullification machine. It shields all my data from Google and other data snarfers out there. Just $19.95 from Ronco. Makes a great Christmas gift!

abarbarian
With two Google mail accounts I can automatically have the mail sent from acc1 to acc2 which is the mail acc I use most often. Can I set G+ to do the same ? So I can log into acc2 and see messages from acc1 and acc1G+.
V.T. Eric Layton
You are Googlefied for sure. Welcome to the hive mind.

abarbarian
Hmm maybe G+ don't suck after all. Though it has given me a frustrating couple of hours.
abarbarian
I have been offered my own personalised G+ URL. Shame I will not be taking up their offer as I do not want to give them my mobile number. Someone said it will be because of my G+ moniker but I think it is because of the quality of my threads and replies.
ross549
Set up a google voice number and give them that. LOL

securitybreach
Yeah but about 29,990 of them are Manjaro trolls. Nah they get their posts removed as there are certain tail-tail signs that they are not using Arch...
Guest LilBambi
Doesn't mean they aren't members though That is an excellent growth for ArchLinux on G+
