Prelude76
What game do you feel should be listed as most addictive game? I mean, the type of game that you've kept playing until 5am rolled about. And i dont mean board games, because RISK and Axis & Allies would sweep that field. I tried to add all that I have personnaly been hooked on for some time, and then added other popular titles that didnt really catch my attentin but might be considered addictive by some. If i missed obvious ones, let me know.
Hawkfan
I have to say that right now the Quake 3 mod Urban Terror is a real time stealer for me. On my days off I'm playing it a lot with the guys in my Quake clan and when we're on at the same time we tend to play for a few hours. I also play quite a bit of Diablo 2 so that I don't burn myself out on any particular game. Been known to play D2 for quite a few hours at a time...one of those "just one more quest and I'm done" sort of things...only I don't stop when I complete the quest. We played about 5 hours of it at the LAN party I went to last weekend... It's a ton of fun (except when you're the first one to die )
FuzzButt
I know I can burn through an entire day playing Medal of Honor Allied Assult or Max Payne or Unreal 2003.MOHAA-Spearhead is what I am doing right now. Great with a few cheats active. On a slightly seperate note. Has anyone see the size of disk space these new games use? MOHAA folder on my games drive is 1.88GB, Unreal 2003 is 2.40GB. I only have a few games right now that are installed and I am over 8GB used out of 38. I feel for those of you who have smaller hard drives or not too much space left.By the way I have played 175 Freecell games in a row a few months ago. That is addicting.Chris
zox
Glad to be with majority of Unreal fans, however, you could add "Wolfenstein" there too as it is very addictive.

It's a ton of fun (except when you're the first one to die )I play CTF nearly all the time and it can be great when your teammates are working together and horribly frustrating when it's everyone for themselves and the other team does well. You just hope the map ends and things get better on the next map.
havnblast
ugh! no Tribes 2 ??? I vote Tribes 2 - can play that one endlessly and I know lots of other people play it too so I can't be the only one.

Yeah, played that one to death, too. Played through the single player campaign several times with different characters. Add in the stuff you could find on the the NWN websites and my NWN folder grew by leaps and bounds. It was a great game but it was one game that I played so much that I got a bit burned out on NWN...I think I'll still get the expansion pack for it, though. Guest genaldar
I can't believe you didn't mention eq. I mean any game known as EverCrack has to be addicting. I know I got hooked on it. I played for 20 hours straight once (ahh Minnesota winters). I knew a guy who played 40 out of 48 hours in a weekend once.

teacher
Joy, are you related to my husband? As long as he can email, type and play solitaire he is happy. He can't quit until he beats it three times in a row!I am of the Myst fan category. Nothing with blood and guts for me. I am kind of old fashioned, but I think Myst pioneered a lot in true computer games. But once you have done everything, you have done everything. This summer when school is out I plan to dust off my Exile disks and really get started in that.
Gus K
Battlefield 1942. Very cool game, takes some horsepower to run though. Used to like Unreal Tournament, but way too many silly giant room maps these days (gotta have that dingy gothic look). UT 2003 is too kiddie/console like. Only online FPS's for me, can't really play against a computer, give me real opponents from around the world.
