daveydoom Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 A friend asked me if there was any way to password protect a Thunderbird email account. I've read where it can be done with IMAP accounts but not POP accounts. Is this true? Is there any way to password protect a POP email account with Thunderbird? I've looked for extensions but haven't found one.Regards, Dave Quote
keithy397 Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Hey Dave,I'm not sure you can password an individual account and I haven't heard of an extension for that, but you can password your stored data.Check this out from the Thunderbird Knowledge Base. Quote
tommyj12 Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 With my POP account in TB I use the password for the POP account. It works for the accounts from my isp as does Gmail POP. Quote
