teacher
Hope you speak (read) italian ! BrunoIf you don't speak Italian don't worry. All you need to know is "Posso avere un biccari di vino bianco perpicheri? " (May I have a glass of white wine please)Of course, this is followed by "Dove est la toilette" after drinking all the wine. And "Scusi, no capesci Deutch" (Excuse me, I don't understand German).Sorry I have lost the ability to spell in Italian since it has been 20 some years since I was stationed there! BrunoFor Italy: Never trust an Italian Male. Of course, I don't think you will need to worry about that one! If the legs are shaved, assumed they make their living on their back side and proceed with caution. Actually, you are on your own on this subject! teacher
Thanks for the tips teach ! I do remember about the hairy legs ( brrr) , and am seriously thinking to go to Fance instead for the holidays, France has a high charm-factor too and at least there I speak the lingo. BrunoFance???? Is that where the fancy ladies live? With a name like Bruno one would think you would parle Itlaliano before parle vous Francais! Both countries are wonderful to visit. With French in-laws I tend to visit there a little more. Wish I could go!The French amazed me years ago with their electronic phone books (think 12 or so years ago) that must have been basically a mini-computer e-mail. Never could understand enough to figure out what was being said about them!

teacher
My mistake. The vowel ending sends me into Italian. I can butcher Italian, French and German with ease. Speaking correctly is another matter. I can't get my husband to teach me French. The only things he ever tried to teach me were not appropriate outside the boudoir. Again I can't spell.
