ross549
Where can I find the bittorrent link? I looked on http://www.ultimalinux.cjb.net/ and couldnt find it. The only thing mentioning bittorrent gives the link to the bittorrent page. ThanxI would be willing to host it via bittorrent....... If we get a couple folks to host it, then the torrent speed should not be too high.
martinultima
alexultima.is-a-geek.net is a personal computer, which is only occassionally running a Web server... he may be in Ultima right now, which doesn't have the server running yet...(He and I installed Ultima from within Slack )BTW, Ultima is pretty stable and tested - it's all Slackware packages, with a few exceptions (I added in two I made, as well as several from http://www.linuxpackages.net) I use everything on my full-blown Slack install, so the only new thing is the distribution method.Sorry, don't have a BitTorrent mirror yet... martinultima
By now it's definitely tested... just finished installing on my own system. (Few difficulties, but not its fault, entirely my own for insisting on leaving as much of Slack as possible on including /etc. Fixed that soon enough.) Planning to have my laptop running it shortly as well. WindowMaker is cool

teacher
I don't think you will find many that have actually downloaded it and that run bittorrent. You might PM Martin to see if he will seed it.

martinultima
Well, remember this old post? I just thought I should add a little update...Ultima Linux is now on its seventh version, Ultima 4. I've got a full-time server now (http://ultima-inet.kicks-ass.org/ultimalinux) - old desktop machine like before, but run as a full-time server. And the download's actually reliable. Thing's gotten a lot easier to install and work with, and yes, there is a user community now... small one but still growing.Anyone want to join?
