It has Mac os x 10.3.9 in it cpu type PowerPc 750 (2.2)1 700mhz speed cpul2 cache 512 kbmemory 384 mbbus speed 100 mhzboot rom version 4.5.2f2I would like to first get it on my wireless @ homeand second install linux in it preferably Ubuntu either as a second os or entirely linux . Jeber Posted March 30, 2011 Share Posted March 30, 2011 A Google search for "linux on ppc" will return several disros designed to run on the PPC platform. If you can find an AirPort card for that model of iBook on Craigslist or Ebay, installation should be fairly easy. It installs just under the keyboard.
