zox
Hi folks.Just to let you know that Neil Jenkins has Ad blocking simplified. You just have to add several lines of code into your userContent.css file and 99% of the ads won't display.Just another amazing thing in Firebird.http://texturizer.net/firebird/http://texturizer.net/firebird/tips.html#l...#lay_adblocking
GolfProRM
Zox,Very neat! Gotta love the customization abilities with Firebird... Although I don't know about anyone else, but under the Web features in the Preferences, you can turn on ad-blocking, and I don't recall ever getting a popup window that I didn't ask for... I don't know if this is the case for everyone else, and if you are getting some, using Zox's tip would be a great way to remedy that! :)Thanks Zox! Prelude76
i think some new adds use CSS note popup feature to display adds. they are not popup windows, more like popup CSS windows. I forget which site had one of those. it SHOCKED me seeing a popup ad after months of having them blocked hehe... anyways, i hope this tweak fixes the CSS ads too... if so, rock on Mozilla/Firebird crew!
