lewmur
Installing Win 7 on a laptop and I can't turn on update for other Microsoft products. When I click on the link in Windows Update, it just goes to a page that shows how to start Windows Update.

lewmur
AFAIR it all comes down at the same link . By default, Windows Update only has updates for the OS itself. But there it has a link to click that, normally take you to a web page where you click to authorize it to update other MS products. But that link is not working. Instead it is being re-directed here. goretsky
Hello, It you start Windows Update by bringing up the Run dialog (WinKey+R) and entering "wuapp.exe" as the name of the program to run, does that make any difference? Or do you still get the same message? Regards, Aryeh Goretsky
amenditman
That greyed out clickable link stays greyed out if you have no other Microsoft products installed.
