raymac46
Lillian's family are dividing up her computer hardware. Her son is taking her new iPad. He reset everything to factory settings. He wanted to do the same thing with her 2012 HP laptop but I advised against it. No point in going back to Windows 7, losing all the updates and reloading the bloatware. I advised him to make a new admin account for Lillian's daughter, then if desired Lilllian's old account and data can be deleted. And so it goes. :'(

raymac46
Lillian was a nice lady and her husband is even a nicer guy so how could I refuse to help? The messes she got herself into were always a challenge and I learned a lot about iOS (not to mention Windows 10) from fixing them. She was unique in that she combined cluelessness with the idea that she was NOT clueless. I have some moderately literate clients and some clueless ones who know they are but nobody else like Lillian. I shall miss her. Honestly.
