Jeber
First, let me apologize if this has been covered elsewhere...I couldn't find an easy answer, so I'm asking directly; Can I safely delete nightly builds from my /home/ directory that I'm no longer using? Since my laptop HD is fairly small, I can't afford too many 9MB folders that aren't necessary. I have my original Firebird directory, and 3 directories of nightly builds, only one of which I use. Which can I safely delete, if any? Thanks in advance, ya'all.
Peachy
Sure can. Just make sure your shortcut icon is pointing to the build you want to keep. What I do when I want to use a new build is to rename the current version directory to something else and then untar the new build. The new build uses the MozillaFirebird directory name so your shortcuts will then point to it. Make sure you are in the same directory as the old build when you untar/unzip the tarball file.
