réjean
Can I uninstall a few initrd images or is it better to keep them all? Edited November 2, 2014 by réjean
amenditman
Generally keep the current one and one, or at most, two previous known working ones, all earlier ones can be deleted.
réjean
Thanks! That's what I'll do next time I am in Ubuntu.
sunrat
Aren't they removed when you uninstall a kernel? In siduction there is a tool called kernel-remover. I just checked in /boot and only have initrd for the 3 kernels currently installed, and have installed and removed dozens in this installation. siduction has a new kernel ~weekly.
