rolanaj
When I address a new email Thunderbird is set to type the address in red, I really don't like using red pens or red ink to write. I know I can change this somewhere but no idea where, so does anyone here know??

rolanaj
Ok I think I got it sorted, between the link Urmas gave me and this I downloaded and installed the addon called ViewAbout once you restart Thunderbird ViewAbout is in the view tab so you choose about:config from there and change the line "mail.autoComplete.highlightNonMatches" to "false". Adding the line textbox[nomatch=true][highlightnonmatches=true] {color: #0000ff !important;} was supposed to give me a blue colour instead but it looks black to me which is fine too.
