: Worked out of the box. Can't remember if I needed to install the ipw2200 firmware as it seemed to work right away. XGL+Compiz functional after updates. Package manner broken but fixed in June update. Remastered release in October fixed 95% of the bugs. Works with WPA wifi networks and WEP-based ones, too.

So far most everything works with a minimun amount of tweakingI did have to tweak my wireless, But it was no big deal.. I also have a USB wireless adapter a Linksys Wireless G for when the atheros gives me fits

StrikerI will take the resolution is 1280x800 after--->>>I may be wrong here but will take what the card & Monitor Properties (yast) shows me = after setting the Activate Dual Head Mode to 1280x800 and rebootingResolution = 1280x800 WXGA 16.7 million Colors 24 bit--->>>even though the Configure Desktop Display Properties still shows --->>>"Your X server is using the RandR extension at version 1.2 or greater which does not have any configuration yet"So hope this is the sign that is needed ;) Cheers for YearsColin
