Guest ThunderRiver
As most of you have tried Knoppix, you might also noticed the neat font under the console. The resolution under the console is like 1024x768 on my machine, any ideas where I could have the similar resolution and font size on other distro? Also, what font do you use in Windows Manager like KDE? Any real nice FreeType font that you recommend?
Bruno
I'm a happy Helvetica user, changed the OpenOffice to Helvetiva too, looks much nicer !Have not got a clue what Knoppix uses in their concole. But you can play around with the fonts in the kde-konsole ( one of the 4 ) for Mandrake --> Settings --> Font --> Custom. Bruno
Guest ThunderRiver
No, not the console inside the Windows Manager. I am talking about the one that doesn't run X.I believe you can activate it by press Alt+F1 ~ F8 ..depends on how many virtual desktop your Linux supports. Bruno
No, changing the font in a text shell is unknown to me. Bruno
