It opens with three panels: calendar, appointment list, and todo list. Hit the tab key to navigate between the three panels, and watch the border color to see which panel you're in. http://calcurse.org/ What is calcurse? calcurse is a text-based calendar and scheduling application. It helps keep track of events, appointments and everyday tasks. A configurable notification system reminds user of upcoming deadlines, and the curses based interface can be customized to suit user needs. All of the commands are documented within an online help system. Neat tool. I have it so it fires up with a middle click when I hover over, which is my xterm icon on me Window Maker . Only had it for a day or so, I'm still getting to grips with it. Seems quick and easy to use and might do everything I need. It may be possible to incorporate in conky. Conky configuration is my winter project for this year as I'm too busy at the moment. I chose that particular icon as it is always a mystery as to what will happen when I press enter in a terminal
