Corrine
According to Adobe Says Upgrade Creative Cloud Apps or Risk 3rd Party Claims, it appears to be related to a Dolby lawsuit against Adobe. On May 8th, 2019, Creative Cloud users have started receiving emails from Adobe stating that older versions of the products they are using have been discontinued and that users are no longer licensed to use them. For many of these developers, this not a reasonable request as they need to utilize older versions for certain projects. In addition, the email states that users of these discontinued programs must upgrade to a newer version or they "may be at risk of potential claims of infringement by third-parties".
