I enjoyed Deltree command way back in Windows 9.x, but it is not included in Xp anymore. Thus I am just wondering if there is such command available in Linux? If there is one, I surely can get it work in Xp through Cygwin.

yeah Cygwin fixed the problem. You have to set the PATH to C:\Cygwin\bin in order for it to work properly. I haven't had much problems yet, but yesterday when I was trying to perform the deletion on of my program folders, I encountered some catastrophic error in NTFSEvent Type: ErrorEvent Source: NtfsEvent Category: Disk Event ID: 55Date: 5/25/2003Time: 12:31:30 AMUser: N/AComputer: Description:The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume C:.Data:0000: 00 00 00 00 02 00 4e 00 ......N.0008: 02 00 00 00 37 00 04 c0 ....7..À0010: 00 00 00 00 32 00 00 c0 ....2..À0018: 90 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 Â.......0020: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........I did this chkntfs c:and it said C: NTFS is dirty.. so then I went to reboot and performed chkdsk C: /rwhich fixed everything. Now I wonder if it was caused by that UNIX command heh.
