zox
Considering there is a couple of Linux Gurus here I have a question for them.I asked the same question on several Linux forums but no answer that would satisfy me so far :(Some people told me it is impossible, but I am convinced that it is possible, especially seeing Netscape Navigator and KDE Konqueror having different, normal hand cursor.I would appreciate the answer and it would help me in more pleasant experience with Linux. This is just one of the small but annoying things that prevents me to switch 100% to Linux and dual boot with XP.Call me crazy and picky but that's who I am :)Thanks! Bruno
Funny enough I did read an howto about this yesterday, have not tried it myself though, I'm quiet happy with the cursors as they are. Here is the link:http://www.tinyminds.org/modules.php?op=mo...artid=58&page=1Have fun. Good luck !Bruno
zox
Thanks onurb for your try, I really appreciate it.However this is man on how to change cursors in Xfree 4.3 or system wide but has nothing to do with Mozilla or Phoenix.I believe that Mozilla is using it's own set of cursors and not that of KDE or GNOME :(Anyway I will first have to test change of cursors and make sure that it doesn't work. Thanks again onurb. Bruno
Zox:Strange enough, mozilla and phoenix do use the same cursors as KDE and Gnome on my system ! (?) Bruno

zox
onurb, just to inform you that I have managed to change my cursors thanks to your articles. Both articles helped but actualy the first one was my path.http://gnomesupport.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2594I was a bit lost since I didn't have default ~/.icons directory but after reading second one I realized that if it's not there, you have to create one It is amazing how people just overlook such a simple stuff.I am pretty sure that most of the people wouldn't know (beginners) that they have to create it.There is just not great tutorials for newbies.Anyway, I got myself nice couple of sets of cursors and they work great. It is just matter of rebooting X and they work. Not as fancy as Windows, but better then nothing :)Anyway, while we're at it, do you know better way of restarting X.I am using CTRL+ALT+Backspace, or that is ok?Thanks!
