Peachy Posted June 5, 2003 Share Posted June 5, 2003 This may be a bit esoteric for some, but for hardware enthusiasts, especially those that follow motherboard trends, ASUS has somehow enabled the Performance Acceleration Technology in motherboards using the Intel 865 chipset, which PAT according to Intel, is restricted to the higher priced 875 chipset. As of yesterday, Tom's Hardware guide has also indicated that Abit released a BIOS update that does the same for their 865 motherboard.
