D***!Those guys at ImageMagick never stop. When I first posted this, I just uploaded the latest ImageMagick module thatI had built from the source I downloaded the day before. Then I checked the IM site. And there was version ImageMagick-6.5.5-2So I downloaded it, then rebooted in slax, built it and uploaded the new moduleToday I downloadedImageMagick-6.5.5-3Gonna build it later and post it tomorrow I guessI'm building texlive2008 but it's still way too big. I prefer to use tetex (about 40MB).Even though I pulled out the extra docs it's still huge:361M texlive-2008.lzm520M texlive-docs-2008.lzm45M texlive-nonenglish-docs-2008.lzmI'll try to figure out which extra fonts I could remove and put in a separate module.Should gain at least 100M I think.

I was about to upload the ImageMagick-6.5.5-3.lzmbut I thought: let's check first the ImageMagick ftp server and ...here was ImageMagick-6.5.5-4I think I'll wait a few more days ...In the meantime I built a few more modules:gle, asymptote, xclip(description below) but I didn't upload them.##################GLE (Graphics Layout Engine)a graphics scripting language designed for creatingpublication quality graphs, plots, diagrams, figuresand slides. GLE supports various graph types(function plots, histograms, bar graphs, scatter plots, contour lines, color maps, surface plots, ...) through asimple but flexible set of graphing commands. More complexoutput can be created by relying on GLE's scripting language, which is full featured with subroutines, variables, andlogic control.GLE relies on LaTeX for text output and supportsmathematical formulas in graphs and figures.GLE's output formats include EPS, PS, PDF, JPEG, and PNG.http://www.gle-graphics.org/####################asymptotea powerful descriptive vector graphics language fortechnical drawings, inspired by MetaPost but with animproved C++-like syntax.asymptote provides for figures the same high-quality levelof typesetting that LaTeX does for scientific text.http://asymptote.sourceforge.net###################xclip (Command-line interface to the X Clipboard)xclip is a command line utility that is designed to runon any system with an X11 implementation. It can read data from standard input or a file and place itin an X selection for pasting into other X applications.xclip can also print an X selection to standard output, which can then be redirected to a file or another program.http://people.debian.org/~kims/xclip/

You've been busy!
yup!and today I updated ImageMagick to imagemagick-6.5.5_6and added twintwin (Textmode Window Environment)twin is a windowing environment with mouse support, window manager, terminal emulator and networkedclients, all inside a text display. It supports a variety of displays: o plain text terminals (any termcap/ncurses compatible terminal, Linux console, twin's own terminal emulator); o X11, where it can be used as a multi-window xterm; o itself (you can display a twin on another twin); o twdisplay, a general network-transparent display client, used to attach/detach more displays on-the-fly.http://linuz.sns.it/~max/twin/http://twin.sourceforge.net/

uploaded theseimagemagick-6.5.5_8tccTinyCC is a small but hyper fast C compiler.Unlike other C compilers, it is meant to be self-relying:you do not need an external assembler or linker becauseTCC does that for you. TCC compiles so fast that even forbig projects Makefiles may not be necessary.TCC not only supports ANSI C, but also most of the new ISO C99standard and many GNUC extensions including inline assembly.TCC can also be used to make C scripts, i.e. pieces of C sourcethat you run as a Perl or Python script. Compilation is so fastthat your script will be as fast as if it was an executable.http://bellard.org/tcc/

quadkonsole-2.0.3.lzm (28K)QuadKonsole embeds Konsole kparts in a grid layout. The number of rows and columns of Konsoles is 2 by 2by default, but can be specified on the command-line.The settings of the Konsoles can be accessed using theright mouse button and can be saved. These settings apply to the system globally,to all Konsole kparts. Konsole widgets get focus as soonas the mouse hovers on them (focus follows mouse). This can be disabled on the command-line.http://nomis80.org/logo.png
