Agent007 Posted May 6, 2003 Share Posted May 6, 2003 Those of u with systems connected to the net 24hrs a day, running services like Apache, Sendmail, Squid, PHP etc are recommended to scan ur systems for rootkits in the event of the system being compromised....Unlike a Intrusion Detection System, this scanner does not run in the background. Once installed u have to invoke it manually from the command line. Does a good job! Fast and simple...Package is less than 40kb!
