You can configure and install virtually everything using the Mandrake Control Center. Almost everything can be done using a wizard. This can be both comforting and daunting, depending on whether you're a Linux newbie or a Linux guru. In the end, Mandrake 10.1 Official is by far the most user and hardware friendly distribution that I've ever used.
