"Do you begin to see, then, what kind of world we are creating? It is the exact opposite of the stupid hedonistic Utopias that the old reformers imagined. A world of fear and treachery and torment, a world of trampling and being trampled upon, a world which will grow not less but more merciless as it refines itself. Progress in our world will be progress toward more pain." -George Orwell, 1984

I haven't been able to share my specs on my profile here because of some bug that hides some of my profile parts, so now I get to share my impressive computers.

It's been years since I updated. The latest script wanted me to delete my machine and enter a new one, but I went into ~/.linuxcounter/ and edited the file for my machine to include my old "machine_id" and "machine_updatekey" values. Once I did that, the lico-update.sh script updated my machine without a problem.

Well you have to also look at their traffic in the last few years. Archlinux has been around since 2007 but the flood of new users has only happened in the last 5 years or so.
